So, since you obviously are either morons or retarded, I must tell you first what the bitcoin wallet is. And why you will need it.

So, to buy and use Bitcoins you need to store them somewhere, right? Well, technically you don’t need to store bitcoins, you need to store the private keys to them.

And here comes the Bitcoin wallet - it’s simply an app or device where the private keys are stored.

There are two main types of wallet – hot and cold. And you’ll need both of them. Why? Very simple. 

How do you usually deal with your money? You put the change in your socks when you go to the convenience store to buy a pack of gum, so guys from neighborhood couldn’t find them while beating the living crap out of you. And you keep the C-note your granny gave you last birthday under the mattress.

Same with bitcoins – hot wallets are the apps which always connected to the internet so you could reach your bitcoins real fast. Exactly as you can easily reach the change in your socks. But remember – as they are connected to the internet, they could be hacked so you shouldn’t keep the large amount there.

And cold wallets are the external devices. They work exactly like a flash-drive with porn you keep with the C-note under the mattress. When your parents leave for shopping you connect the flash-drive, jerk off on porn, and then disconnect it like nothing happened. The same way a cold wallet works – you connect it to your PC, make a transaction and disconnect it. And no hacker can steal your bitcoins. Like your parents can’t prove that you were watching porn instead of studying math while they were shopping. This type of wallet is best for savings.
