Scammers, scammers, scammers around!
Scammers, scammers, scammers around!
The web is overfilled with all kinds of scumbags, who tries to parasitize on freelance copy/content
writers.
While normal platforms like Upwork, create barriers for some sort of freelancers to protect the
market (and their own profit) from overheating and dumping, platforms like WizardWriters or
LivingstonResearch actively search the naive people in Eastern Europe (perhaps they would do this
in Asia as well if they could speak Asian languages).
Here is the discussion of one of them:

Last two sites mentioned above have a strong stream of negative reviews from freelancers. And this
is a thing I don't understand here. In case if you deal with authors fairly - you pay them right and you
treat them right, you don't need to look for them - they will find you. All you will have to do - pick
up
the best of them. And you will only need to evaluate their qualities or put a person or a few people to
do that job. No special HR-s for searching etc.
This sites use another business strategy - they search everywhere (hire HR-s for this) all the time
because they don't treat freelancers well. What they get - permanent job of searching and sorting the
people. You've found one writer, sort out ten others. Made two-free projects (or just one) and he
abandons you soon after. You need to do the whole cycle again. Is it more profitable then the first
case?
